After Procedure Care

After Laser Ablation Treatments:

FOR THE FIRST 72 HOURS

  • Leave all bandages in place
  • Do not take a shower or bath (you may sponge bath)
  • Keep the bandages dry
  • At 72 hours, remove the bandages but continue to wear compression stockings.

FOR THE FIRST 7 DAYS

  • Do not participate in strenuous exercise
  • Keep the procedure leg at 45 degrees at all times
  • Walk 10 minutes every 2 hours while awake

AT 7-10 DAYS

  • Return for your post-op ultrasound

AT 14 DAYS

  • Return for your follow up office visit with Dr. Kronson

FOR THE FIRST 21 DAYS

  • Wear compression stockings 23-1/2 hours a day, removing them only to shower, and replacing them immediately after

After Varithena Injectable Foam Treatments:

FOR THE FIRST 48 HOURS

  • Leave all bandages in place

  • Relieve aching and heaviness
